I am reading the 100 years war and though I had heard of Joan of Arc I had not read about her Well it was worth reading this brief and very enjoyable book It read like a fable or a novella, both like a history book I became engaged the moment I read the first paragraph It also contained pictures that helps the reader get a rounded image of the characters. The story was very clear and without a doubt Joan of Arc is a great heroine of the time Felt rushed in middle chapters and a little towards the end Every detail of her life and lifestyle is well captured, however the trail needs to be clear it lacked details But again the author did a fine work in projecting Saint Joan s sacrifice and her bold attitude Perhaps a detailed map would be of great help Wonderful quick peek into Saint Joan s life.
