I have known of Franklin Delano Roosevelt as the thirty second president of USA who led the country both during the WW II and through the Great Depression He is legendary because he was elected President for four terms until his life was unfortunately cut short by his death Despite his health challenges which included disability brought on by polio, he went on to lead a full life, excel in his diverse roles as a family man, a very triumphant President, a politician, successful lawyer, Governor of New York culminating as the President of the most powerful country in the world He trained himself so well that people did not even give a thought to his physical shortcomings. He achieved several political landmarks one of which was developing the New Deal Coalition While giving the readers an exceptional impression of the life and events of FDR, the author demonstrates a magnificent style of narrative that holds the readers spellbound to know about the life and times of FDR This book gives a very prodigious account of the rationale behind the projects and programs scheduled by FDR A great and enlightening facts about the final few months of this superlative President. While accomplishing all of the above, the book also inspires readers to try to achieve greatness in the face of seemingly indomitable obstacles just as FDR did.Another great book from the Captivating History authors Thank you very much.I got an Advanced Review Copy just as I picked up a copy from .

A nicely put together brief biography of a well known figure in US and world history of the first half of the 20th century Sometimes the emphasis on certain aspects seems a bit odd to those of us in the medical field, and there is also a page or so about each of his children Altogether not bad for its length.Duke Holm is the narrator who can t seem to correctly pronounce terms and locations not of American origin.

While interesting, it is at a very high level But that s what you ll get at 108 page free book note about 1 4 of the book is previews of other books Personally I wold look for something with substance This read like a wikipedia entry this happened, then that, then that Very little analysis into motives, thoughts, relationships etc.
